While Chambéry needs no introduction, Sion airport is probably less familiar. Sion is located in the Swiss Valais region and is the local airport for Zermatt, Verbier, Saas Fee, Crans Montana and Villars. Flying to Sion offers huge savings on transfer to these resorts and others in the region and since Snowjet will be operating the only commercial service to Sion you won’t have a long wait at check–in or baggage reclaim so you can be on your way even faster.
