Great Reasons to Ski the French Alps this January
1) Exceptional snow conditions
As you may know, conditions in the French Alps are currently exceptional. Our favourite resorts close to Chambery airport are reporting snow depths of up to 4 metres on the upper slopes and up to 2 metres in resort. That’s more than fell in the whole of last winter! These are certainly the best January snow conditions seen in a decade, some say the best in 25 years, others the best ever. Whatever the statistics, snowsports enthusiasts heading to France in the next fortnight are likely to discover simply fantastic skiing conditions.
2) Blissfully quiet slopes
What’s more, January is the quietest month of the whole winter. During this low season period there are generally no lift queues and immaculate pistes remain quiet enough to pick your line and keep to it, cruising or blasting at your own pace.
3) Low prices
Resorts do their utmost to encourage people to ski during the low season, so there are great deals to be found in resort on accommodation, lift passes and ski hire. At Snowjet we’re doing our bit too and have reduced our flights from Stansted to Chambery on 21st and 28th January to under £50 one way.
To be among those paying less to ski the best snow on the quietest runs, book your Snowjet flight to Chambery today. Prices will rise as seats sell.
