Be the First on the Slopes
With all this early snow, 2008 is the year to ski in December. And there are some great pre-Christmas bargains out there. We have selected a couple of the best deals in the snow-sure resorts of Tignes and La Plagne.
Ski La Source boasts a portfolio of beautiful chalets in Montchavin & Les Coches. The two traditional alpine villages are lift-linked to the La Plagne ski area, where the snow is already stacking up. At the time of writing there are 75cm of snow in Plagne Centre (2000m), 110 cm on the Bellecote glacier and it looks, from these images, like there is no shortage of snow lower down.

The slopes have been open since September and today there are 70cm of snow in Le Lac (2100m) and 140cm of snow on the Grand Motte Glacier (3000m). Check out the incredible snow coverage on the glacier even before the latest snowfalls.
