Last Chance for February Half Term Ski Flights

As ever February half term is proving an exceptionally popular week to ski and at www.snowjet.co.uk we are close to fully booked on all our timesaving ski flights.
At the time of posting:
- We have a handful of seats available across our London Stansted to Sion flights departing the UK on the 10th, 11th and 12th February and returning on 17th, 18th and 19th February.
- We are fully booked from London Gatwick to Chambery on both 11th and 12th February but we do have some availability on our London Stansted to Chambery flights departing the UK on the 11th and 12th February and returning a week later.
If you’ve yet to organise your ski flights for the February halfterm holidays, you’ll need to book now to avoid disappointment.

Fresh Snow and Fat Skis

It’s another absolutely fabulous week in the French Alps with blue skies on the back of more heavy snow. The below sign post snapped on the hill on Monday says it all and was too good not to share. For non-linguists this translates as:
60 – 80 cm of fresh snow. Get your fat skis out!
Take advantage of Snowjet’s last minute ski flight deals and you could be enjoying snow conditions like these next week. All Stansted to Chambery flights departing this Saturday (28th January) have been reduced to £49 one way.

December – Most Popular Month to Ski

Though winter 2010/11 is not long ended, smart skiers are already looking ahead to next season. Bookings for Snowjet’s ski flights to Chambery and Sion have been rolling in, with December proving by far the most popular month to fly to the slopes.

Snowjet Stars in New TV Documentary

A new Channel 5 documentary – Stansted: The Inside Story – starts tomorrow night (Tuesday 8th February). And we’re hoping that Snowjet and its parent company Titan Airways will be, if not the stars, rather more than the extras…
Channel 5 approached us back in the autumn about filming and we were more than happy to be involved, allowing film crews access to behind the scenes pre-season preparation and then, come December, to the complete Snowjet passenger experience on board one of our Sion flights.

In addition to the Snowjet ski flight angle, the programmers will be looking at Stansted Airport’s unsung heroes: airfield rangers; snow clearers; baggage handlers; airline operations and airport security.
The first of 6 hour-long episodes will be aired at 8pm tomorrow night. Don’t miss it!
